Electric Goddess is a battery consulting and R&D firm in El Segundo, California, dedicated to advancing innovation, safety, and performance in the rapidly evolving energy storage industry. We do serious science. We're looking for a part-time Social Media & Content Coordinator who can carry a distinctive brand voice across platforms, run a camera and an edit timeline, and use AI tools with taste to multiply what one person can produce.
Role Summary
You'll support Electric Goddess's public presence: editing video, publishing to LinkedIn and X, coordinating and shooting podcasts and interviews, and keeping our templates and brand coherent across everything we ship. You'll work directly with the founder and have real creative input. This role suits an organized, self-directed creator who loves systems as much as storytelling.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video for social, podcast, and web
- Draft, schedule, and publish posts on LinkedIn and X in the Electric Goddess voice
- Coordinate podcasts and interviews end to end: booking, prep, shooting, and publishing
- Shoot photo and video content in the lab and office
- Manage content templates and keep brand coherence across channels and formats
- Work with AI tools to move faster and have fun with it, while keeping human judgment on everything that ships
Required knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated video editing skill (portfolio or reel required)
- Native fluency with LinkedIn and X as platforms: formats, cadence, what performs and why
- Strong writing with the ability to match an established brand voice
- Organized coordinator: comfortable owning schedules, logistics, and follow-through
- Working fluency with current AI tools for writing, editing, and production, and the taste to know when not to use them

- Case study writing support: turning technical non-confidential material into readable stories
- Coordinating marketing efforts with partners: white papers, co-marketing posts, webinars
- Photography skills and comfort directing on-camera talent
- Podcast production experience
- Curiosity about batteries, energy, and hard tech
Physical Requirements
- Able to work onsite in El Segundo for shoots and recordings
- Comfortable working around an active battery lab (safety briefing provided)
- Able to carry and set up camera and lighting gear, up to roughly 10 kg (22 lb)

- Part time; hours flexible and set on mutual needs
- Hybrid: editing and writing can be remote, shooting and recording are onsite in El Segundo, CA
- Works directly with the founder; small team, fast decisions, real ownership
- Pay: dependent on experience and final job role, as mutually agreed
